Man killed in A483 collision with car is named

A man who died after being in collision with a car as he walked along a road in Wrexham on Saturday has been named.

Simon Steven Hannigan, 27, from Gwersyllt, Wrexham, was pronounced dead at the scene on the southbound lane of the A483 at about 18:20 BST.

The car involved was a silver Vauxhall Corsa.

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact PC 1865 Joanne Roberts on 101 quoting incident reference number P177178.
