Teenagers hurt in Queensferry quad bike crash

A teenager has been seriously injured in a quad bike crash in Flintshire.

The 15-year-old boy was said to be in a stable condition in hospital after the incident on a footpath in Queensferry on Thursday night.

A second 15-year-old boy was allowed home after treatment for minor injuries.

North Wales Police are also trying to trace a third youth who may have been involved in the crash near John Summers High School just before 23:00 BST.

Inspector Steve Arnold said: "We are keen to trace him to make sure that he is not suffering from any injuries which he may have sustained."

The injured boy is being treated at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Merseyside.
