Tributes after Neringa Kairyte dies in Garden City crash

Tributes have been paid to a woman who was killed when the car she was travelling in hit a wall in Garden City, Flintshire.

Neringa Kairyte, 27, from Lithuania had lived on Deeside for six months and was planning her wedding, friends said.

She died at the scene at Welsh Road on Saturday at 23:20 BST. Police have appealed for witnesses.

The packer at Morrisons' Deeside warehouse was called a "shy, loving person" with a "wonderful personality".

Her supervisor, Andrius Cecenikovas, said: "Neringa, as well as being a good friend, was an excellent efficient hard-worker who enjoyed her job.

"She and her boyfriend Audrius had been together for about nine months and were beginning to plan their wedding."

Another friend said: "We are all so shocked and cannot believe what has happened.

"Neringa was a shy, loving person who was a good friend to all who knew her."

Another said: "We had enjoyed a nice barbeque earlier that day where everyone had enjoyed themselves. Everyone liked Neringa. She had a wonderful personality."

North Wales Police have previously asked witnesses to the incident, which involved an Opal car, to call 101.
