Pont Felin Puleston bridge partially closed due to safety concerns

Part of a road bridge in Wrexham has been closed after steelwork supporting its cantilevered footpath was found to be in a worse condition than previously thought.

The Pont Felin Puleston bridge carries the A5152 Wrexham to Rhostyllen road over the River Clywedog.

An alternative footway has been provided within the carriageway leaving room for a single line of vehicles.

Traffic lights are in place whilst temporary propping work is carried out.

Wrexham council has apologised for any inconvenience.
