Wrexham Glynis Solmaz murder: Arrest of man in his 20s

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of the body of a 65-year-old woman in Wrexham.

The man, in his 20s and from the town, is being questioned at Wrexham station after the death of Glynis Solmaz.

She was found at her home in Bryn Hafod, Caia Park, on Wednesday morning, and police announced on Friday that her death was being treated as murder.

Earlier, detectives had appealed for information from anyone who saw her between last weekend and Wednesday.

Ms Solmaz lived alone with her two Rottweiler dogs which she took for walks regularly.
