Human trafficking: Four people arrested in Flintshire bailed

Four people arrested by police investigating human trafficking and the exploitation of workers in Flintshire have been released on bail until June.

North Wales Police said the people were arrested on Deeside in connection with gangmaster licensing offences.

The force had executed a number of warrants as part of an operation looking into foreign workers in the Deeside area.

Wednesday's operation involved the Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca).

The Gangmasters Licensing Authority, which regulates the supply of workers to the agricultural, forestry, horticultural and shellfish industries, was also part of the operation.
