Olympic taekwondo champion Jade Jones showed her United shirt and gold medal to the crowd
Olympic taekwondo champion Jade Jones has been presented with a special Manchester United shirt at Old Trafford.
United fan Jones, 19, from Flintshire, showed off her gold medal to the crowd and received a shirt emblazoned with "Jones 2012" on Saturday.
She watched United beat Wigan Athletic 4-0 with her brother Luke and grandfather Martin Foulkes.
Jones said: "It was great. It was the first time I'd watched them live."
She added: "I had a really good time, and I got to go on the pitch with my medal."
Jones, nicknamed the Headhunter, took gold in the taekwondo 57kg category on 9 August at London 2012.
She has been a life-long United fan and trains in Manchester.
Her appearance at Old Trafford came a day after she joined Wales' Olympic and Paralympic athletes for a homecoming parade in Cardiff.
