Fire at Ifor Williams Trailers, Deeside, finally out

A fire at a trailer manufacturing plant on the Deeside Industrial Estate in Flintshire is out.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said seven fire crews and an incident command unit remain at Ifor Williams Trailers.

The alarm was raised at about 13:00 BST on Tuesday and 70 members of staff were evacuated. No-one was injured.

Fire crews from Deeside, Buckley, Mold, Holywell, Wrexham and St Asaph fought the flames.

A spokesperson for Ifor Williams Trailers said the premises had been evacuated safely.

"We are grateful to the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service for their prompt response and for their efforts in tackling the fire," said the spokesperson.

The Environment Agency Wales attended.
