A55 crash: Pedestrian dies in collision near Rhuallt

A male pedestrian has died after a collision involving three vehicles on the A55 in Denbighshire.

North Wales Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service were called at 21:30 BST on Saturday.

The collision was on the eastbound side of the road near Rhuallt, and led to the closure for a time of the A55 between junctions 28-29.

The person who died was from north Wales, but his identity has not yet been released.

Police are asking anyone who was travelling in any direction on the A55 on Rhuallt Hill between approximately 21:30 BST and 21:40 BST who saw a pedestrian to contact them 101.
