Hunt for missing Hayden Evans after party in Cheshire

Police are searching for a teenager who has been missing since a works Christmas party.

Hayden Evans, 18, from Mold, Flintshire, attended the event at the Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire on Friday night.

He was last seen by the hotel front door at about 01:00 GMT on Saturday.

Police are making an appeal for dog walkers or anyone who went walking in the surrounding countryside on Saturday to contact them.

He is described as around 5ft 9in (1.76m), slim, with short brown hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt and trousers.

Police said he did not have a jacket or coat and are concerned he may have become disorientated with the extreme cold and unfamiliar surroundings.

Officers are asking people in the area to check empty buildings such as sheds and garages, and farm buildings, in case he tried to shelter from the cold weather.

Anyone who travelled on the A41 Whitchurch road or A534 Wrexham road and may have seen the teenager is also asked to contact police.

The hotel is east of Wrexham and south of Chester off the A534 near Clutton.
