'Small teen' in the Big Apple

A Colwyn Bay teenager who suffers from a rare form of dwarfism is the subject of a documentary filmed at a pivotal time in her life.

Jasmine Burkitt, known as "Jazz" to her friends, is just turning 16, planning a trip to America and hoping to meet her father for the first time.

Like any typical teenager she loves shopping, clothes and gossiping with her mates.

But she is also a carer for her mother, who has the same condition, and in BBC Three's Small Teen, Big World, she reveals the kind of difficulties she faces in everyday life.

Small Teen, Big World is on BBC Three on 27 July at 21.00 BST.
