Wind farm proposal for Powys mountain

Villagers are being urged to have their say on a wind farm planned for a mountain in Powys.

Up to 35 turbines could be developed at Mynydd Lluest y Graig near Llanerfyl.

The site is earmarked for large scale wind farm, with potential to generate over 50MW of power.

Swedish energy firm Vattenfall says the planning process will take three years and are at the "very earliest stages". Drop-in sessions start at Adfa near Newtown on Tuesday.
