Farmer Richard Morgan Davies admits breach over animal carcasses

Farmers are being warned to dispose of animal carcasses properly after a Powys man was given a two-year conditional discharge by magistrates.

Powys council said Richard Morgan Davies, of Aberedw, near Builth Wells, admitted six offences under animal by-products regulations.

Twenty-nine other offences were taken into account after 34 sheep carcasses were found on his land.

Brecon magistrates also ordered Davies to pay council court costs of £815.
