Investigations are continuing into the sudden death of a 65-year-old woman in Ceredigion.

Dyfed-Powys Police said Patricia Anne Durrant's body was discovered in a property in Llandysul High Street on Monday morning.

A 59-year-old man remains in custody after being arrested yesterday.

Police have restricted access to the street as part of their enquiries and have put a diversion in place.

A force spokesperson said: "We are grateful to locals and those travelling in the area for their co-operation and patience during this disruption.

"There will be restricted access to the area until further notice, and we ask that you bear with us and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."

Police appealed for witnesses to contact them on 101.
