The family of a teenager who died in a three-car collision in Ceredigion has paid tribute to a "lively, bubbly" girl.

Keen sports woman Gwenno Fflur Tudor, 18, from Llanilar was a student at Llysfasi agricultural college.

She was a former pupil at Llanilar primary and Tregaron secondary school.

Emergency services were called to the A487 between Llanrhystud and Llanon at about 08:45 GMT on Monday and the road was closed for several hours.

Gwenno's family said she was "a lively, bubbly girl who always had a smile on her face".

"She enjoyed taking part in sports and played football for Penrhyncoch and hockey for Tregaron.

"She also enjoyed taking part in young farmers activities, and she loved to spend time outdoors, and spent a lot of her time outdoors on the farm.

"Gwenno will be very deeply missed by family and friends," they said.

Dyfed-Powys Police family liaison officer Helen Yelland added: "This is a tragic incident that has had a heartbreaking impact on Gwenno's family and a very close-knit community, who have come together in their grief following the tragedy."
