Two people have been rescued after becoming stranded on rocks off the Ceredigion coast.

Milford Haven coastguard was alerted by an emergency call after the pair were cut off by the tide on Thursday evening.

An RNLI inshore lifeboat from Cardigan picked the couple up and dropped them at the beach at Tresaith, near Aberporth.

The coastguard said both were uninjured.
