Brecon River Usk search continues for Steven Moore

Police have named a missing man believed to have fallen into a fast-flowing Brecon river three days ago.

Dyfed Powys Police said the search for Steven Moore, 54, continued on Sunday along the River Usk after river levels dropped.

The force helicopter, using heat-seeking equipment, has scoured the area.

Mr Moore is thought to have fallen near Llanfaes Bridge early on Friday. Anyone with information is asked to call 101.

Ch Insp David Guiney said the search had to be stopped on Saturday because the flow was too fast, but river levels had dropped.

He said searches were taking place in and around the town, while specially-trained officers were supporting Mr Moore's family.

Mountain rescue team and crews from the Mid and West Wales Fire Service have previously been involved in the search.
