A woman has been rescued from a disused Ceredigion railway tunnel after falling and breaking her leg.

Two fire crews provided lighting in the tunnel to allow paramedics to work after the alert was raised by phone at about 15:30 BST on Monday.

The woman was found about a quarter of a mile (400m) inside the tunnel on farmland at Bangor Teifi, near Llandysul.

She was taken to hospital in Carmarthen by ambulance.
