Ex-Visteon worker John Elvins on effect of pension cut
Former workers of the Visteon car parts factory in Swansea are presenting a petition to MPs as part of their campaign to try to reclaim up to half their pension entitlement.
The Visteon Pension Action Group has a legal action pending against Ford, which was supplied with parts by Visteon.
Ford says it views the claim as being without merit, and will defend its position vigorously.
Although recognising the impact on former Visteon UK workers, Ford says Visteon became an independent company in 2000 and was responsible for its own business decisions.
As he travelled to the demonstration on the third anniversary of Visteon going in to administration, John Elvins told Radio Wales' Peter Johnson how he and his colleagues found themselves in this position.
