Drivers in Cardiff caught in flash flooding after downpours

14 August 2014 Last updated at 17:40 BST

Torrential downpours have brought flash flooding to parts of Cardiff, with a landslip halting trains between Radyr and Taffs Well.

In Coryton, shoppers were stranded inside a supermarket for a short time after up to a foot of water built up in the car park of the Asda store.

South Wales Fire Service says it has been dealing with several incidents, especially in Whitchurch and Radyr.

Drivers battled through flooded roads in Llandaff North at around 17:00 BST.
