Woman airlifted after mountain fall in Snowdonia

A woman was airlifted to hospital she fell and broke her ankle while walking in Snowdownia.
The 63-year-old, from Wolverhampton, was in the area of Gelli Iago, near Beddgelert with a group when the accident happened on Sunday.
Nine members of the Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team were called to the difficult terrain after someone from the woman's group raised the alarm.
A helicopter from RAF Valley took the woman to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.
