National Trust vote to find Wales' special place

A vote to find the most special location in Wales has been launched by the National Trust.

The conservation charity's Special Places campaign has narrowed down the options to 10 ranging from Gower to Hay-On-Wye and Snowdonia National Park.

The shortlist was chosen by a panel of judges, along with travel and heritage experts with the winner announced next month.

Votes can be cast online until Sunday 3 August through the National Trust.

  • Dyffryn House and gardens, Vale of Glamorgan
  • Gower
  • Hay-On-Wye
  • Mwnt, Ceredigion
  • Penarth Pier
  • Snowdonia National Park
  • Tenby
  • The Lonely Tree, Powys
