London's grip on funding for the arts has "starved" museums and galleries in the rest of the UK, according to the head of National Museum Wales.
David Anderson told BBC Wales that a "disproportionate" amount of money was given to organisations in just three London boroughs.
He said he wanted a fairer distribution of public and private money to areas outside London, including Wales.
BBC Wales arts and media correspondent Huw Thomas reports.
