Could horsemeat market solve breeding industry crisis?

Developing the horsemeat market is the solution to the current crisis facing the horse breeding industry in Wales, according to some leading figures in the field.
They say horses have been over-bred and the cost of keeping the animals have driven prices lower.
One breeder and former international show-jumper Eurig Eynon has told BBC Radio Cymru that he's been forced to take some of his Welsh cobs to be slaughtered because market prices are at an all-time low.
But ministers don't think developing a horsemeat market here is the answer, reports Ioan Wyn Evans from Radio Cymru's current affairs programme Manylu.
The programme can be heard on BBC Radio Cymru on Thursday 26 June at 12:30 BST.
