South Wales Police charge two officers with theft

Two South Wales Police officers have been arrested and charged with theft and are due to appear at Cardiff Magistrates' Court next month.

The force said the arrests followed an investigation by its professional standards department.

A spokesman said the officers were aged 45 and 43 and would appear in court on 17 April.

He said the Independent Police Complaints Commission had been notified of the investigation.
