Josephine Sowden to 'hold back' from competing due to Eisteddfod rule

The most recent winner of the National Eisteddfod's prestigious art prize has said she will "hold back" from competing again after the festival decided to reinforce the use of its Welsh language rule.

Josephine Sowden's winning video was criticised for containing spoken English when it was presented at last year's eisteddfod in Denbighshire.

Application forms for this year's event now state that all original work should be in Welsh.

BBC Wales arts and media correspondent Huw Thomas reports.
