Snow keeps road recovery crew busy in north Wales

19 November 2013 Last updated at 13:27 GMT

Snow falling on high ground in parts of Wales caused traffic problems with some roads blocked or closed.

The A4212 was partly blocked between Bala and Trawsfynydd in Gwynedd after four vehicles were abandoned in places.

Motorists in Denbighshire and Conwy reported snow lying on the road and hazardous conditions on the A5 between Corwen and Pentrefoelas.

Gethin Owen from Roberts and Thomas Recovery in Corwen, Denbighshire, says motorists were taken by surprise by the snowy conditions on the roads on Tuesday morning.
