The serious neglect of an elderly patient at two hospitals has led to a pledge from Wales' health minister for a review of a health board.

The family of Lilian Williams from Porthcawl said her treatment was appalling.

Between 2010 and her death in November 2012, she was admitted four times to the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend and to Neath Port Talbot Hospital.

Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board says it has robust measures in place to deliver safe care.
