Women's football 'lagging behind,' says FAW appointee

Women's football in Wales is lagging behind other UK nations, says the first woman appointed to the Football Association of Wales.

Trish Turner said she planned to use her role in the 137-year-old sporting body to be "the voice" for women in the game.

Her comments came as Wales women's football team prepared to taken on Belarus at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

Claire Summers was at the ground ahead of the match, which Wales won 1-0.
