Man, 62, bailed over historical abuse at north Wales' care homes

A fifth man arrested on suspicion of historical sex abuse at care homes in north Wales has been bailed.

The 62-year-old man from Wrexham was questioned on suspicion of a serious sexual offence and indecent assault of two boys aged 14 and 15 in the 1980s.

He was arrested by officers involved in Operation Pallial which is looking into recent allegations of historical abuse in the care system in north Wales.

The man was bailed until late November. To date one man has been charged.
