Fire crews in Chepstow seagull chick rescue

Fire crews have rescued an injured seagull chick trapped on a building in Monmouthshire.

The bird, which was reported to have a broken wing, was trapped in guttering and has been passed to the RSPCA.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to a three-storey building on School Hill in Chepstow at 08:26 BST on Saturday.

Two engines and a hydraulic platform were sent and crews rescued the chick just before 10:00 BST.
