Trike crash: Woman seriously hurt in Denbighshire collision

Police are appealing for information after a woman was seriously injured after a collision between a car and a motorised tricycle in Denbighshire.

The incident near the Clwyd Gate Hotel on the A494 Mold to Ruthin road happened at 11:50 BST on Sunday.

North Wales Police said the vehicles involved were a red Citroen C4 car and an army green coloured Chaplin trike on which the woman was a passenger.

The woman, from the Manchester area, was taken to Wrexham Maelor hospital.
