It follows an incident on the northern bank of the River Teifi on the Parc Teifi side of Priory Bridge between 12:30 and 14:00 BST on Friday.

Officers want to speak to anyone who was in the area or walking on the opposite bank of the river along the Cilgerran wildlife footpath.

A police family liaison officer is supporting relatives of the young man.
