Small businesses turnover £38bn but need cash help, says report

High street banks are still not lending enough to small businesses in Wales, according to a new report for the Welsh government.

It says 20,000 companies are missing out because they are not getting the money they need.

There are around 208,000 small and medium sized businesses in Wales, employing 600,000 workers, with a combined annual turnover of £38bn.
