Rise of Swansea City gets movie treatment

24 June 2013 Last updated at 12:42 BST

The story of Swansea City's rise from the depths of the Football League to the riches of the Premier League is being told in a new movie.

Jack To A King will be directed by Marc Evans, whose film Patagonia won four Bafta Cymru awards last year including best director.

Evans said he wanted fans to play their part by supplying old pictures and footage which may then be used in the movie.

He said it was about the "little guy, the little club" making it.
