Cardiff Singer of the World's 30 years

The BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition takes place in Cardiff this week.

It is thirty years since the event took place for the first time and has launched the careers of dozens of classical singers in the years since.

The final takes place in St David's Hall on Sunday.
