Facebook Y Felinheli party: Charges after 100 gatecrash

Police have been called to a "large scale disturbance" after more than 100 young people gatecrashed a house party organised via Facebook.

North Wales Police went to a property in Y Felinheli, near Caernarfon, at about 22:00 BST on Wednesday.

Police said one officer was punched and kicked, but she was uninjured, and one of their vehicles was damaged.

Two people were charged with criminal damage and with a public order offence. Four others were arrested.

Neighbour Dylan Owen said he went out to have a look at about 22:30 and by that stage the partygoers were standing by the village clock near the street where the party happened.

"They looked like they were aged around 16, and you could tell some of them had been drinking," he said.
