Springwatch's Chris Packham on RSPB's Ynys-hir reserve

The effect of the very late spring on nature in mid Wales is the focus of the BBC's Springwatch programme.

For three weeks, the live show will also explore new woodland, reed bed and rare bog areas of the RSPB's Ynys-hir reserve in Ceredigion.

Presenter Chris Packham said the weather was having an effect on wildlife around Britain and further afield.

The wildlife expert was speaking to Oliver Hides on BBC Radio Wales.
