Wales weather: Minera mudslide clean-up begins

Help

A clean-up operation has started in a village near Wrexham after a landslide blocked a road and affected homes.

Residents say 3ft (90cm) of mud was swept down a hillside road at Minera on Wednesday morning after a night of heavy rain.

Contractors have been called to clear the debris from the road at Ty Brith.

The air ambulance took an elderly man to hospital with chest pains after a road crew was unable to reach the scene.
