Ambulance response time targets missed across Wales

24 April 2013 Last updated at 19:45 BST

New figures show ambulances in all parts of Wales are failing to meet response time targets.

It comes as the Welsh government tries to address problems of so-called bed-blocking and waiting times in accident and emergency departments.

One man who recently lost his mother says she suffered because of pressures on the NHS.

Nick Palit reports, while BBC Wales Today presenter Lucy Owen spoke to Tony Beddow, a visiting professor at the University of South Wales.
