Police are growing "increasingly concerned" for an 18-year-old Welsh soldier who has been missing for more than three days in Kent.

Josh Thomas was last seen on CCTV just before 01:00 BST on Wednesday after spending the night with friends at the City Wall pub in Rochester.

The soldier, believed to be from Swansea, was based at Brompton Barracks in Chatham.

Kent Police are appealing for help to trace him.

CCTV images showed him walking over Rochester bridge and into Corporation Street after his visit to the pub.

Mr Thomas is described as white, about 5ft 9ins (1.8m) tall, of slim build and with short dark brown hair.

He was wearing a dark blue Lyle and Scott jumper with white and red collar, grey jeans and white Converse trainers.

Officers have asked anyone with information to call the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 10-0243, or to contact Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
