Welsh government 'balanced response' for snow hit farms

The Welsh government minister responsible for farming says his response to the livestock crisis caused by March snow is 'balanced and fair'.
The freezing weather has seen some farms lose hundreds of their stock, especially in parts of north and mid Wales.
Natural Resources and Food Minister Alun Davies has relaxed for seven days EU rules that ban farmers from burying dead animals on their land.
However, the minister told Bethan Rhys Roberts on BBC Radio Wales that there would be no extra cash to compensate farmers for their losses.
