Chewing gum 'improves focus', Cardiff University study funds


Chewing gum can help you stay focused for longer, according to new research.

The study, published in the British Journal of Psychology, was carried out by a team from Cardiff University and looked at the potential benefits of chewing gum during an audio memory task.

Psychologist Chris Miles, lead researcher on the project, told Bethan Rhys Roberts of BBC Radio Wales about the findings.
