UK government in Welsh assembly 'dual mandate' talks
The UK government is considering whether to allow candidates for the Welsh assembly to put themselves up for election both in the constituencies and on the regional list.
Wales Office minister Stephen Crabb has said the so-called dual mandate question is still being considered.
Laura McAllister, professor of governance at the University of Liverpool, pointed out that although politicians frequently referred to the dual mandate that was not really what is being talked about.
She spoke to Vaughan Roderick on BBC Radio Wales' Sunday Supplement.
