Lord Deben: Climate Change Commission for Wales report

Help

The Climate Change Commission for Wales launches its second annual report on Monday.

The guest speaker at the launch will be the chair of the UK's independent committee on climate change Lord Deben, the former cabinet minister John Gummer.

But with worries about the economy, anxieties about the health service and the horsemeat scandal it could be argued that some environmental issues have slipped from the political agenda.

Does Lord Deben ever get disheartened that there are still powerful people and powerful voices denying that global climate change is happening?

Lord Deben answered that question during an interview with Vaughan Roderick on BBC Radio Wales' Sunday Supplement.
