Welsh mothers giving birth older

Fresh figures show that more Welsh mothers are giving birth at an older age.

According to the latest figures the number of women aged 40 or over who gave birth in 2010 was up 63 per cent compared to ten years earlier.

Sioned Morys from Criccieth, Gwynedd has three children, her last when she was 41, while Katy Stevenson from Cwmcarn, Caerphilly, had her first baby when she was 43.

They told Good Morning Wales' Bethan Rhys Roberts what it was like being an 'older mum'.
