Jocelyn Davies AM: Benefit changes were not explained

Welsh assembly members are being recalled to Cardiff Bay on 19 December to approve changes to council tax benefit.

About 330,000 households in Wales could lose benefits if the assembly does not approve new regulations.

The Welsh government tried to rush through changes to the benefit system earlier this month, but this was blocked by some opposition AMs.

Plaid Cymru AM Jocelyn Davies, appearing with Labour AM Mark Drakeford on Sunday Politics Wales, said she had objected to voting on an issue that had not been explained to her.
