Autumn Statement 2012: Focus on welfare and benefits
Families, businesses and individuals in Wales are waiting for the chancellor's autumn statement to hear what steps he will take to try to encourage growth.
Many will be keenly waiting to hear if George Osborne will extend the period of spending cuts again, with benefits and welfare budgets under pressure.
BBC Wales economics correspondent Sarah Dickins was at the University of Glamorgan in Pontypridd and spoke to people about these issues.
