Homecoming parade for Royal Welsh after Afghanistan tour

Soldiers from the 1st battalion Royal Welsh have been parading through Swansea.

The occasion remembered Captain Stephen Healey, 29, and Corporal Michael Thacker, 27, who died during the battalion's latest tour of Afghanistan.

The city also signed a community covenant to support members of the armed forces and their families.

As the city reaffirmed its commitment to the armed forces, one woman who lost her partner has embarked on a mission of her own, running 415 miles in a year to raise money for blind veterans.

Caroline Evans has the story.
