Cancer children 'feel alienated' says Clic Sargent charity

Help

Many children feel alienated and left behind when they go back to primary school after treatment for cancer, according to the Clic Sargent charity.

It says more than half of those questioned for a survey felt they had grown apart from school friends.

However, a school in the Vale of Glamorgan went the extra mile to make sure that did not happen to one pupil who was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
